This is a bug fix improvement update.

Highlights

• Numerous important file syncing and client stability fixes

• FileVault support for Folder Linking in MacOS

All current ZumoDrive users will automatically receive this new update in their desktop client. Windows users will be prompted with "A new ZumoDrive update is available" from your ZumoDrive on Windows. To install the update, click on the "Install Update" menu item in your tray icon. Mac users are automatically updated the next time ZumoDrive is restarted.

What's changed in v0.989?

General ZumoDrive fixes and improvements that:

• resolved an issue that occasionally caused certain types of files from being synced to the server
• resolved a sync issue where the client would repeatedly try to uncache a cached file causing high cpu usage
• resolved an issue where in rare cases ZumoDrive stopped syncing changes after computer comes back from sleep
• addressed a timing issue where creating and deleting a file in rapid succession will bring it back as a 0byte file
• resolved an issue that caused linked folders to stop updating when there are inconsistencies between the client and server
• increased reliability and efficiency of file uploads to better handle and recover from upload errors
• refined iTunes import to increase reliability when importing large number of songs into iTunes from ZumoDrive
• address an issue where transfer progress item sometimes disappears
• Folder Linking console UI layout improvements
• turns off streaming notification for files being download as part of executing the "always cache" option
• address an issue that kept an unlinked folder in the "Currently Linked" section
• address an issue where streaming icon overlay does not go away when streaming stops
• fixed various cut off texts and text alignment issues for French and Italian locales
• addressed an issue that prevented linked folders from being unlinked when users are over quota

Windows only fixes that:

• addressed an important issue that caused Windows XP clients to stop syncing linked folders changes to the server
• resolved an issue where moving a file on a second computer can sometimes cause a Windows 7 client to crash
• resolved an issue for ZumoDrive running on Windows XP sometimes failing to start
• resolved occasional installation issues on 64bit Windows
• addressed an update issue that can cause ZumoDrive client update to fail
• resolved an issue that caused ZumoDrive to still start up on boot despite disabling 'Run on start up'

Mac only fixes and improvements that:

• allows Folder Linking to work with folders protected with FileVault
• resolved an issue that increased memory usage when working with Photoshop
• resolved various Photoshop saving issues: could not save, slow saving, and ZumoDrive crash
• addressed an issue that prevented ZumoDrive from running after it has been run in second user account
• resolved an issue with context menu now show up for second user accounts
• addressed an issue of missing context menu when mac user name contained a white space or file names that contained a "&" symbol.
• resolved some general memory usage issues
• resolved an issue that caused ZumoDrive to sometimes not start up on boot when ZumoCast is installed
