About the ZumoDrive v0.988 update

Summary

ZumoDrive v0.988 (For Windows and Mac)

This is a bug fix and user interface improvement update.

All current ZumoDrive users will automatically receive this new update. Your client will be automatically updated to 0.988 after a restart of ZumoDrive.

You can manually download the update installer from the download page.

What's changed in v0.988?

General ZumoDrive fixes and improvements that:

• added a new menu item showing a list of recently changed files
• added a new help menu item with links to the tutorial, support portal, and feedback page
• turns the menu bar / task tray icon to a gray icon when ZumoDrive is offline
• resolved an issue where changes in a linked folder is not synced to the server in some situations
• addressed a condition where ZumoDrive keeps trying to upload the same files repeatedly
• resolved an issue that sometimes caused ZumoDrive to stop syncing with the server after waking from sleep mode.
• resolved an issue that updated the last modified timestamp on folders when it is linked to ZumoDrive
• improved display for the status UI when performing bulk uploads that was previously confusing
• resolved an issue that caused the unchecking of "start on startup" option to not persist after ZumoDrive update
• improved clarity of user notification when a file or folder is moved within ZumoDrive

Windows only fixes that:

• improved ZumoDrive stability by fixing an issue with ZumoDrive shutdown
• resolved an issue where ZumoDrive Windows client sometimes hanging on app shutdown (this fix requires a reinstall of ZumoDrive with the 0.988 installer to take effect. However, you do not need to uninstall first.)

Mac only fixes and improvements that:

• changed the ZumoDrive Menu Bar icon to color for all Mac OS versions
• added an option to change the Menu Bar icon back to grayscale in the ZumoDrive console
• resolved an issue that prevented the access of files in the linked folders from other Mac computers on other Macs
• improved folder linking stability on Snow Leopard (Mac OS 10.6)
• addressed an issue that prevented unziping a zip file into ZumoDrive
• resolved an issue with context menu not showing up on secondary user accounts
• improved ZumoDrive Mac client robustness with automatically detecting and recovering bad MacFUSE installations

Note: For the best upgrade experience, we recommend that you restart your computer following the 0.988 update, especially if you have any problems with icon overlays or context menus.
